One of a large family of site safety access cage equipment, each with their own design variants. This item is in our orange range of short lead-time safety accessories.

It is designed to be lifted by either forklifts or cranes. A standard forklift cage, for example, only requires design emphasis on a strong chassis because the forks take the load, however, the introduction of an overhead crane lift means the cages must stay square and not deform when being picked up from above.

After years of providing personal safety cages, we are now producing a range of standard formats based on industry use and safety standards.

The forklift man cage features included in this design are:

• Automatic locking & unlocking side access gate
• Built-in harness attachment anchorage
• Fork pockets fitted with locking pins, they lock the cage to the forks
• Rear and overhead protection reinforced with frame posts
