Cape Town based Stevedores required replacement clamshell grabs to replace old stock at Saldanha Bay, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. They came to us over issues of design and price having previously contacted two other European suppliers. Engineered Solutions operates an international client account which suited the customer who has extensive global investments and we were able to offer specification, design, build and supply complete with inspection services.
There was a significant saving on the work which we had manufactured close to Africa and an improved turnaround on cargo handling. We also supplied them with container handling equipment.
